Academic Lecture: 

      Academic Lectures are conducted at SDMCMS&H every Saturday as part of the Medical Education Program, where the doctors from different departments participate and deliver lectures on topics related to their specialty.

      The doctors and students of SDM attend the lecture. 

      On Saturday, 10th January 2009, Dr. Raghunath Shanbag, Dept. of E.N.T. will deliver a lecture on “Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS)”. 
 

SDM Doctor - All India Radio Program: 

      Specialists from SDM College of Medical Sciences & Hospital speak about health related topics in A I R – Dharwad, which is followed by answering questions received by post card from the public. 

      This is a live program broadcast by A I R – Dharwad at 765 KHz AM, on every Tuesday between 07.00 – 07.30 pm under the banner “SDM Doctor”. 

      On Tuesday, 13th January 2009, Dr. Pushpa Patil, Dept. of Community Medicine, SDM College of Medical Sciences & Hospital will speak on “Woman Empowerment”.
